FAMILY: Prophetess Furtick has two children, Dominique and Brandon. She has four siblings, Kimberly, William, Renee and Brian. Her Parents William and Ella Kavenaugh reside in Louisville Kentucky.
CHURCH AFFILIATIONS: Prophetess Furtick attended Canaan Christian Church in Louisville Kentucky. She is affiliated with Lighthouse International Ministries of Lawrenceville GA, and is on the Board of Directors. In addition, Prophetess is licensed and ordained, as well as, the President and Founder of both Castout Deliverance Ministries Inc. and LaTonya Ministries Inc. Castout Ministries was established to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ through mercy ministries as well as preaching, teaching, and spreading the good news of the Gospel. Prophetess is moving forward with her music ministry and empowerment seminars under the umbrella of LaTonya Ministries Inc.
THE NEW MILLINIUM: As a Prophetess, LaTonya has a mission and believes that through evangelism and inspirational speaking, she will continue to save lives by bringing souls to Christ. Some of her efforts include: Feeding and clothing the less fortunate, teaching at women prisons, and heading a mentoring program for young adults to name a few. In addition, Prophetess is continuing her National Revivals spreading the news that “you shall live and not die, have everlasting life, with peace and clarity.” Her state to state revivals have already gone to Kentucky, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, and The Carolina’s. Spreading the news will continue state to state thru 2009.
FAVORATE HOBBY AND PASTIME: Prophetess Furtick enjoys listening to gospel music and light jazz. She is very involved with her two son’s music and sports endeavors. She is currently working on her first gospel music single, because singing the Lord’s praises is paramount in her life.
MEMORABLE MOMENT: Prophetess Furtick often speaks about the day she received the Holy Ghost. The powerful anointing that was placed on her life in November of 1999 continues to keep her the righteous woman of God that she is today.
MENTORS: Her mother Ella Kavanaugh, Dr. Juanita Bynum, and Apostle Barbara Hayes her spiritual mother.
